LEMON GINGER SHOTS
Lemon Ginger Shots (Ice Cube Style)
These lemon ginger shots are a powerful way to jumpstart your day! Packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, they’re simple to make and store in your freezer for daily use. Just drop one cube into hot water for a soothing tea, or blend with cold water for a refreshing drink. Alternatively, you can store the drink in the fridge for a quick daily wellness shot.
Health Benefits:
- Lemon: Rich in Vitamin C, supports immunity, aids digestion, and alkalizes the body. 
- Ginger: Contains gingerol, known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, supports digestion, and helps alleviate nausea. 
Ingredients (Makes ~12 ice cubes):
- 5 large lemons, juiced (about 1 cup) 
- 3-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and chopped 
- ½ cup water (adjust as needed for blending) 
Instructions:
Using a Juicer:
- Prepare Ingredients: Juice the lemons and ginger separately. 
- Mix: In a small bowl, combine the lemon juice, ginger juice, and honey (if using). Stir well. 
- Pour and Freeze: Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray and freeze until solid. 
Using a Blender:
- Blend: Add chopped ginger, lemon juice, honey (if using), and water to a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth. 
- Strain: Use a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove the pulp, extracting the liquid. 
- Pour and Freeze: Pour the strained liquid into an ice cube tray and freeze. 
To Use:
- Lemon Ginger Tea: Drop 1–2 cubes into a mug of hot water. Stir to dissolve and enjoy. 
- Refreshing Drink: Blend 1–2 cubes with cold water or sparkling water for a zesty beverage. 
- Wellness Shot: Store the prepared liquid in the fridge (up to 5 days) and enjoy a 1-2 ounce shot each morning. 
Tip:
